Delete Account — FinKel
This page explains how to delete your FinKel — Finance Keluarga account (developer: Mahas Dev) and all data associated with it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Fastest way: from inside the app
- Open the FinKel app.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Choose Privacy & security.
- Under Your data, tap Delete account.
- Type the word DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account permanently.
Your account and all your data — on the device and in the cloud — are permanently deleted immediately.
Without access to the app
If you no longer have the app installed or can’t sign in, send a deletion request to info@mahasdev.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject “Delete FinKel account”. We verify account ownership and process the deletion within 30 days of receiving the request, then confirm by email.
Data that gets deleted
- Account data: email address, display name, and account identifier.
- All financial data in the cloud (for Pro users with sync enabled): transactions, wallets, debts, budgets, goals, bills, contacts, shared books, and journal entries.
- Receipt images stored in your account’s cloud storage.
- All local data on the device (when deletion is done from inside the app).
Data that is not deleted
- Purchase/subscription history on Google Play or the App Store — managed by Google/Apple, outside our systems. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription; cancel it via Google Play → Subscriptions or Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions.
- Anonymous crash-diagnostic data that is not linked to your identity.
- Records we are legally required to keep, if any.
Users without an account (Free/Starter)
If you use FinKel without signing in, all of your data lives only on your device and never reaches our servers. To erase it, use the same steps under Settings → Privacy & security → Delete account (erases all data on the device), or uninstall the app.
